Newsletters
October 2011 issues of METRANS News and Building Bridges now available. See below. 
METRANS publishes two newsletters of interest to the transportation community. Both are available online and are distributed at all METRANS events and at other gatherings held by and for the transportation community. Contact atraver@ccpe.csulb.edu if you would like a hard copy of a specific issue or to be added to the mailing list. METRANS News is published three times a year. It summarizes METRANS research, education and outreach activities. It highlights METRANS researchers, conferences and other events, recent publications, interviews with key individuals involved in METRANS, and other newsworthy activities and events. It is distributed to university transportation centers and faculty throughout the US; federal, state and local public agencies, and to the transportation industry. Building Bridges is published quarterly. The newsletter is a briefing document to inform and promote dialogue within the maritime/logistics community. It provides a neutral communications channel on industry issues and reaches over 3000 ILWU members, industry leaders, government agency representatives and other goods movement stakeholders. The Building Bridges NEWS FLASH is a special e-comminque that is used to advise recipients about events and topical items by email.
